coming out of the Lucky Bar, Rip and I noticed this guy sitting there. I usually don't take photos of people on the street but this guys sign was too good to pass up. Although he admitted that no one in his family really had been killed by ninjas, he did admit that he wished atleast some of them might have been, not all deserved death by ninja, just some.

so there I was walking to get my morning smoothie from smoothie king I started walking to the store when I noticed the lot seemed kinda wet, then I turned around and noticed it was roped off. Damn they just blacktopped it. oh well. I gotta get my smoothie. So I continue across the lot and get inside. when the guy asks cool you were brave enough to get around the parking lot. Yeah I said and then realized you could see my prints across the lot. damn. I got my smoothie and wanted to take a picture but though I can't just go take a shot of the steps I supposedly didn't create so I left and walked down the sidewalk out of view and created some new prints just so I could take the photo. Now I have blacktop all over the bottom of my shoes, but it was worth it.

metro

little bit of a lapse since my last photo I posted on here. Damn busy. But anyway, enough about that and more about the shot. This was taken on my way back from dropping the Vespa off to get some repairs done on it. Needs a new front shock and some other, hopefully minor things. So the nice peeps at the Vespa repair shop gave me a ride to the metro stop, which was great. While waiting on the metro I decided to take ouut the camera and take a few shots. I like this one the best because of the placement on the floor and how it draws you into the hole at the end. Well the train came and it took forever to get home but that's a different story.

So I got a new job and haven't been shooting much, just tryinf to get used to the job and back and forth to work and all. That's and it's been raining forever it seems. So I got out of work and it was actually nice out so I decided to head out and buy some new work clothes, and while I was out if I saw anything that caught my eye I'd take a few images as well. This is actually the corner of the bank of america building that in basically across the pedestrian walkway from the white house. I took thi shot while leaning against another bank wall, while police and W.H. security was definately watching me. I really liked the bluesness of the sky. so good.

So this photo is right outside my building. DCJohn proposed doing a DC Rain Throwdown. Basically you shoot pictures of the rain cuz we were supposed to get so much today and then post them. So this is one of the 2 that I took. I didn't feel like getting wet so I waited til the rain stopped and then I made my move to go shoot. the slight problem I had was that it was getting dark, so I used my 50mm 1.8 lens.

This is another picture that was taken in NYC from this past weekend. Betz was sick and couldn't go. I was across the street from this shot trying to make something from the fence and the barbwire. Nothing was working for me. So then I crossed the street to get a closer picture of the barbwire. I got that shot, didn't like how it turned out either and then Betz called, while talking with her, was when I noticed these locks. I started taking these pictures while I was on the phone thinking that, this is what I would give her, cuz I never know what to buy her as a gift from my trips, and also to show her I was thinking of her, cuz she is beautiful.

green box

green box

so this is in Soho in NYC. It seems that everytime I got to NYC, I end up here and this time was no different. I shot the wall behind the green box 2 weeks ago and nothing had really changed on the wall, so I started walking down the wall and noticed this shot. I tried to get the arch of the green box to go with the arch of the former window arch. That's the story behind this one.
